From August 6 to 8, the 2026 Global Business Innovation Conference (GBIC 2026), hosted by Yonyou, was grandly held in Nanjing. Under the theme of “Harnessing AI to Drive Growth,” the conference brought together nearly 10,000 business leaders and executives, industry executives, experts and scholars, media representatives, and consulting institutions from China and overseas to explore in depth the trends of global business transformation amid the wave of the general-purpose AI technology revolution, systematically break down the product and technology support and methodologies for large-scale enterprise AI implementation, and discuss and share leading practices in enterprises harnessing AI. As the largest and most influential professional event in the field of enterprise digital and intelligent transformation in the Asia-Pacific region, the conference officially released the “Enterprise AI Maturity Model” (EAIMM), jointly developed by Yonyou and Hejun Consulting.

Currently, the “Opinions on Deepening the Implementation of the ‘AI Plus’ Initiative” continues to be implemented and deepened, and artificial intelligence is accelerating its transition from technological innovation to industrial application. For enterprises, how to make AI truly enter business management processes and shift from isolated pilots to large-scale application has become an important topic in the current stage of digital and intelligent transformation.

To help AI achieve large-scale implementation in enterprises, Yonyou and Hejun Consulting, based on their long-term accumulation in the fields of enterprise services and management consulting, as well as their in-depth assessment of AI industrial implementation, have jointly developed the “Enterprise AI Maturity Model” (EAIMM), providing clear stage divisions and path guidance for the large-scale implementation of AI in enterprises, and promoting the concrete implementation of the “AI Plus” Initiative at the enterprise level.

The model defines a five-level progression system from L1 position empowerment, L2 system efficiency improvement, L3 precision operations, L4 autonomous operations, to L5 intelligent innovation, forming an assessment system with six dimensions: comprehensive capabilities, human-AI relationship, AI application level, enterprise value, enterprise activity level, and advancement process, which can be used to guide enterprises in the practical advancement of AI.

The five-level progression system guides enterprises along the development path of AI implementation:

  • L1 Position Empowerment: As the position trial stage, this represents the initial penetration of AI value in enterprises. Its core characteristic is “humans execute, AI assists,” with the AI application level at the AI Ready stage, corresponding to the enterprise activity level of intelligent perception. At this stage, AI is mainly applied to key scenarios such as meeting minutes, policy/office Q&A, and knowledge retrieval; marketing copy and draft documents/reports; and to-do check and processing, programming, and testing.
  • L2 System Efficiency Improvement: Entering the department co-construction stage, the human-AI relationship upgrades to “humans command, AI executes,” with the AI application level reaching AI Inside I, corresponding to the enterprise activity level of intelligent insight. At this stage, AI is mainly applied to key scenarios such as contract review, financial statement analysis, and business analysis; customer service and marketing promotion; and investment assessment and risk signal early warning.
  • L3 Precision Operations: Entering the domain advancement stage, AI value is further released, and the human-AI relationship evolves to “humans decide, AI executes,” with the AI application level upgraded to AI Inside II, corresponding to the enterprise activity level of intelligent execution. At this stage, AI is deeply integrated into key scenarios such as market insight, price forecasting, and supply chain risk; intelligent procurement, procurement-sales matching, and intelligent scheduling; and fund allocation and post-investment management.
  • L4 Autonomous Operations: Entering the全域 (all-domain) AI stage, the human-AI relationship upgrades to “AI executes, humans authorize,” with the AI application level reaching AI Native I, corresponding to the enterprise activity level of intelligent decision-making. Key scenarios cover proactive risk intervention and integrated R&D, production, supply, and sales operations; group business cockpit; and track collaboration and resource allocation, among other key scenarios, achieving an elevation of enterprise value.
  • L5 Intelligent Innovation: As the value chain co-creation stage, the human-AI relationship evolves to “AI leads, humans supervise,” with the AI application level reaching AI Native II, corresponding to the enterprise activity level of intelligent innovation. AI comprehensively drives innovation in product R&D, business models, and corporate governance; supports dynamic resource allocation and business simulation; and enables key scenarios such as AI-native product/model experiments and ecosystem collaboration, driving enterprises to achieve business paradigm innovation and sustainable elevation.

Correspondingly, there is a progressive pattern of enterprise value release: from L1 to L3, AI value focuses on optimizing the four dimensions of operational efficiency improvement, cost reduction, risk control, and growth; from L4 to L5, it breaks through traditional operational boundaries, driving the overall elevation of enterprise development models, with AI upgrading from an efficiency tool to an enterprise’s innovation engine and core competitiveness.

Wang Wenjing, Chairman and CEO of Yonyou Network, stated that AI is the largest revolutionary technology wave globally since the birth of computers. With the large-scale commercialization of AI, it marks that information technology has entered a new stage in enterprise applications, and enterprise digital and intelligent transformation has entered the second half with “intelligence” as the focus. In this process, the model can provide a reference for enterprises to practically advance AI applications and intelligent construction, and promote the concrete implementation of the “AI Plus” Initiative at the enterprise level.

AI will comprehensively reshape enterprises from six major dimensions: decision-making methods, products and services, operating methods, business models, asset structures, and organizational forms. Global enterprises are accelerating their evolution toward Digital and Intelligent Enterprise 2.0, with data and model-driven operations, human-machine collaboration, proprietary cognitive assets, agile response, precision operations, and autonomous operations becoming the six core characteristics of Digital and Intelligent Enterprise 2.0.

Wang Feng, Chairman of Hejun Consulting and Chief Management Scientist of Hejun Consulting, stated that Digital and Intelligent Enterprise 2.0 will be composed of “humans + intelligent agents + robots.” This is a new paradigm revolution, with AI applications spreading and penetrating widely across industries and functions, and AI is driving enterprise upgrading and transformation.

Against this backdrop, Yonyou is seizing the momentum and closely aligning with the wave of technology and business innovation. Leveraging years of forward-looking planning and sustained R&D investment in the field of enterprise digital and intelligent transformation, Yonyou has officially completed its strategic renewal from “enterprise software” to “enterprise AI,” building a trinity business architecture comprising enterprise AI software, enterprise AI integrated software and hardware products, and enterprise AI business operation services, to help enterprises across all industries build core AI application capabilities and jointly usher in a new future of high-quality growth.
